If you are traveling by car, you first need to get to the city of Zadar, the simplest way is by A1 highway. From there, you will arrive to the island of Dugi otok with daily ferry that leaves from the Gaženica, with line Brbinj-Zadar. The journey takes 80 minutes. When you arrive in the little town of Brbinj, there is only one major road to the north on the island that leads to Veli rat.
